Milo Lockett was born on December 1, 1967, in the province of Chaco, Argentina. He is 52 years old, lives and works in Resistencia, his hometown. He develops a very free art, linked to the language of children, to the iconic, to the close with the observer. Colorful, vibrant, figurative. Also related to the surrealist work of Joan Miró.

Since he was a child he was interested in drawing and painting, in his elementary school he was sent to the free workshops of the Chaco School of Fine Arts, as an alternative task.

I think I am between what would be "Art Brut" and "Primary Art". At times my work becomes a little graphic and then a little pictorial ... but I don't really care about that, I'm not worried about being inside a place or belonging, says Milo

At present, he is one of the most important and award-winning self-taught artists in the country, who has always found moments of success to bring his talent and passion closer to solidarity causes throughout Argentina. He collaborates with Unicef ​​and paints murals in hospitals and kindergartens to convey collective values ​​and feelings to the neighborhoods and communities they visit. He has also held exhibitions for 9 years in countries such as Switzerland, Germany and the United States.
