Britain’s biggest police force is training dogs to hunt down would-be terrorists and respond to attacks, it has emerged.

The Metropolitan Police has spent more than £1 million on a pilot programme to train two Belgian malinois to accompany officers during a terrorist attack, which began in April last year. The dogs can track down targets, and are trained to bite suspects to stop them and not to give fright at the sound of firearms, the Daily Mail reported. They can parachute into an area with their handlers.
