My opinion about the song is that we don't have to kill people, instead we have to help them and also help the ones that are around us. It is about saving the world and helping others when we can.

What is the story behind the song?

The love and the friendliness of the children will change the knowledge and the actions of the military, and it will help to get better the bad things that we did. It is about changing the bad things that can kill us, for good things that can help us be better people and have a better environment. As Michael Jackson mentions in the song, “see the nations turn their swords into ploughshares”, which means that we have to change the tools that we use to have a better world, instead of creating things that cause pain we should use them to heal.

What do you think about the future on the planet? Optimistic view

My point of view is optimistic, but we need to change things that we are doing right now. One important topic is that we have to invest more money and time on health, make people spend more time with the important people for them; other good fact that we have to stand out is make people reflect about the environment and take better care of it, people need to recognize the importance of living in a healthy environment and change bad habits, and also take care of others, be respectful.

Why do you think the writer of the song composed this song?

I think that he noticed the damage that we were and are causing to others, to ourselves, to the planet. He is motivating us to change and share with other people, to realise that all of us are humans. He encourages people to improve the world. And also, because he loved people and wanted people to love each other.
