Is Bogota Safe?
Is often secure to live but many people does not feel like that is true.
Is not easy to believe but the violent crime rate is much lower than in many american cities. Kidnappings in the capital have dropped by 93% over the past 20 years. In bogota are many people that scams in many ways but if you want to avoid the scams see this tips:
1) Don't show your valuable items in public places, many thief are just waiting for you to show 'em and then they stole those items
2) It will be strange in some ways but also don't take drinks from strangers they can be spiled with drugs.
If you follow this tips and you also be carefull with your items you will almost never have problems but also there are more things you can do so don't be confident 'cause caution is forearmed.
