It was one of the unexpected definitions given by former President Cristina Kirchner in today's extensive interview. But, faithful to his style, he used the criticism of the situation that Venezuela is going through with a questioning to the government of Mauricio Macri. Despite the sympathy and alignment that the Kirchner had with Hugo Chavez, first, and Nicolás Maduro, later, the candidate of Citizen Unit recognized that in the Caribbean country "there is no rule of law."

"But here, in Argentina, neither," added Cristina, and mixed to substantiate the argument, the disappearance of Santiago Maldonado, the situation of prosecutor Alejandra Gils Carbó - prosecuted for alleged corruption in the purchase of a building - and the causes for various crimes faced by trade unionists and judges. He acknowledged that in Venezuela "there is no rule of law, there are political prisoners, such a fracture between society, that is split into the middle." And, next, he said: "But here too."

In an interview with Infobae, the journalist Luis Novaresio asked him if there was "democracy in Venezuela", to which Cristina Kirchner replied: "Democracy is in emergency throughout Latin America. where there is no democracy and throughout the rest of the region, democracy is a fallacy. In Venezuela there are all the difficulties of a divided and divided country, where there are severe clashes. "
