Rafael Garcia Herreros

Colombian priest; born on January 9, 1909 in Cúcuta (Norte de Santander) and died on November 24, 1992 in Santafe de Bogota. He made his first studies at the school of the Sisters of the presentation and then entered the Seminary of Saint Tomás de Aquino (Pamplona). Moved to the Seminary of San José of Usaquén, in Santafé de Bogotá, where he showed interest in the study of German language and literature, Hebrew and astronomy. He was ordained a priest in 1934.
