Tunal Park Alternative Recreation

A big park Bogotá is the Tunal Park, It has approximately 56 hectares with spaces where you can practice sports and relax.

Located in the town of Tunjuelito between the avenues Boyacá, Villavicencio and Mariscal Sucre, this Park has the capacity to host more than fifty thousand people in recreational and sporting events. This place is visited for people from nearby neighborhoods such as: Ciudad Bolivar, Cazuca, Restrepo and 20 de Julio. You can go between 5:30 am and 6:00 pm.
Among its many attractions the Tunal Park has: a football court and natural grass field with a capacity of thousand spectators, do not forget to take along all the necessary sports equipement. Other space is the covered Coliseum that might have the capacity of six hundred people.
 
Also you can find many asphalt courts to play basketball, football and volleyball. Besides the many tennis courts, BMX, rink of skating, hockey and athletic.
Is a place nice and beautiful, must we take care of this park. Important places near the Tunal Park are: the Tunal shopping center and the Tunal library. The Tunal Park show us that there are many spaces for community integration.
