English Festival: HAMILTON
An incredible musical presented by the high school students, inspired by the famous Broadway musical HAMILTON, written by Lin Manuel Miranda.
Our students continue to demonstrate their beautiful talents to the school community! On November 1st, high school students participated in their English Festival entitled "Hamilton"; inspired by the broadway musical play written by the talented Lin Manuel Miranda. This play takes place in the 1770s until the 1800s and deals with Alexander Hamilton (1755-1804), one of the founding fathers of the United States and defender of the Constitution of the United States. It shows his journey from poverty to success and the legacy he left in the nation until today. It was an afternoon full of captivating performances, choreography and songs of the original work. Organized by the high school English teacher, Mrs. Marrero, together with Junieliz Mitchell, an eleventh grade student who had the initial idea for the play and gave it her all for it to be possible and espectacular. The main characters were interpreted by: Alexander Hamilton- Eithan Capella Aaron Burr- Jose Carlos Serrano Eliza Schyuler- Junieliz Mitchell George Washington- Daniel Rios and many more talented students! Among many other participations by choreography, makeup, backstage, clothing, ect. We congratulate Mrs. Marrero, Junieliz and all the team that worked really hard to made this incredible show possible!
