In the middle of a bunch of bad news related to the pandemic, The Rolling Stones will be streaming some of their most memorable concerts.
Everything started when the British rock band played “You can always get what you want” in the festival “One world together at home”. After their performance, a lot of fans were expecting more from the band during the quarantine; and their wishes became true. On May 3rd, The Rolling Stones started to release a series of memorable shows, concerts and gigs. The project is called “Extra Licks!” and although it started some days ago, the band will be releasing a total of six films on their YouTube channel, one per week, every Sunday.
The first video available, was their concert in Buenos Aires, on February of 2016 as part of the Ole! Tour of Latin America. Moreover, the band recently published a new single created during this quarantine, it is called “Living in a Ghost Town”.
Personally speaking, music has helped me a lot to cope with the lockdown, and I consider a caring and empathetic gesture the fact that artists are helping people to feel happy and motivated by playing their songs.
