REGULATION AND LEGAL INTERVENTION IN COLOMBIA
The issue of nanotechnology in Colombia is still very young, since the spheres of nanotechnology have only been reached with parallel investigations by universities, each in its field of action and research.
Nanotechnology in Colombia is not currently regulated by legislation regarding its manipulation and use in scientific and technological projects. Colombian legislation does not keep pace with the great scientific and technological developments of the current world, which makes it necessary, therefore, to establish regulations in order to guarantee and regulate the research and application of great scientific and technological developments such as Nanotechnology. It is of vital and current importance, in the face of growing technological advances, to regulate aspects such as:
Industrial Property (Patents).
Copyright protection.
Health Register the nanotechnological manipulation of living and inert organisms, human beings and fauna.
Hiring, among others.
