He is the King

It is clear: He is the king of clay. Rafael Nadal won his 13^th Roland Garros, the Spanish is unstoppable in Paris!

Rafael Nadal (2° ATP Ranking) beat Novak Djokovic with category number one, 6-0, 6-2, 7-5, last Sunday, October 11, in the wonderful Philippe Chatrier; equalling Roger Federer´s record of 20 Grand Slam singles titles. The final Nadal-Djokovic was expected to be a good match, but Djokovic could not withstand Nadal. Rafael made an astonishing presentation, showing his best tennis through the whole tournament, and the final was definitely not the exception. He won 6-0 the first set, being it the first time the Serbian losing a set since 2008. Through the second set it was undeniably that Rafa dominated Nole 6-2. And finally, the third and last set was more tied, with Novak doing some great moves, but they were not enough to stop the unbeatable Nadal.

Rafael won an atypical Roland Garros as it was celebrated in autumn, and not with the best conditions to play tennis because of the pandemic. Compared to Djokovic, the Spanish was at disadvantage as Novak had had more matches, a better rhythm, and, on the day of the final, the circumstances favoured the Serbian. Nevertheless, once again we realized that the king is the king: Nadal played fantastic on that court despite the adversities. No one was able to stop him!

 Rafa changed his blows in a perfect way; an impressive forehand, a powerful service, dominion at the net and, in my opinion, his best weapon was the crossed backhand.
