TODAY, THE FEMINIST PARTY IS PRESENTED IN BARCELONA
Lidia Falcón and the Feminist Party (31th May 1979)
Our long-term goal is to seize power, "Lidia Falcón, a Catalan lawyer, told Efe. The Feminist Party, which is has being presented today at the Lawyer Association of Barcelona, is defined as a republican and federalist party.
According to Lidia Falcón, the Feminist Party is currently established in Catalonia, but has nuclei and contacts in Madrid, Galicia, Valencia, Seville and some other points. It will have a federal structure and the supreme body will be the congress. The governing bodies of the new feminist political grouping will be the ideological political commission and the secretariat.
