Colombian fashion, ready for Paris Fashion Week

The Colombian design continues to conquer the great capitals that set the trends and its next showcase will be during the Paris Fashion Week, one of the most important events for the industry, whose next edition will be from September 23 to October 1 .
For several years, some Colombian designers began arriving in this city to present their collections in formats such as showrooms and trunk shows parallel to the official program of the Fédération de la Haute Couture et de la Mode (French Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion ), which includes the catwalks of brands such as Dior, Chanel and Louis Vuitton.

In the list of Colombian designers who will be presenting their collections in Paris is Silvia Tcherassi, who will show her proposal for the spring-summer 2020 season. “Again I will present my collection at Le Meurice Hotel, as I have been doing in recent seasons because this format allows to have a better appreciation of the design, the materials and those small details that make the difference and cannot be appreciated in a traditional fashion show, ”says the designer.

Colombian jewelry will also be present in the hands of two of the most recognized brands in this sector. On the one hand, Cano Jewelry will present a new collection under the creative direction of Paula Mendoza. For its part, Mercedes Salazar will be presenting its proposal for spring-summer 2020 in a showroom called Paris Market at the Hôtel du Duc, from September 27 to October 3. Prior to this event, it will be in New York and London, also coinciding with the fashion weeks that take place in those cities.
