Many times we need tools that help us with the detection, management and prevention of accidents such as musculoskeletal disorders, but do we know what they are?

Many times we need tools that help us with the detection, management and prevention of accidents such as musculoskeletal disorders, but do we know what they are? Here we tell you.

  • Postural evaluation (REBA) of the body, associated with high risk of TME; Work rotation model was developed to prevent WMSDs based on workgroup task groups of high and low workload.
  • OVAKO (OWAS) evaluation tool for heavy lifting. Analyze the body posture for the back, arms, legs and head according to weight or strength requirements.
  • Rapid evaluation of the upper limb (RULA) analyzes the posture and strength to estimate the risk of damage to the upper limbs, computer office workers with musculoskeletal pain

  • Key indicator methods (KIM), which consist of three different tools for analyzing lifting, holding and transporting loads (KIM-LHC), pulling and pushing loads (KIM-PP) and health risks associated with manual handling in various environments working (KIM-MHO)
  • Occupational health evaluation of the MUSCULOSKELETIC SYSTEM: electrical conductivity of the muscles (electromyography), musculoskeletal questionnaire is one of the most used scales to evaluate the musculoskeletal symptoms reports among workers
