Pavarotti's tape will be seen in Colombia

This Friday, September 6, marks the 12th anniversary of the death of one of the most famous tenors in the history of opera, Luciano Pavarotti, and among the tributes that are woven around him is that of the filmmaker Ron Howard, the Oscar winner  for directing and producing the film A brilliant mind.

 Howard created a film about Pavarotti's life, divided into three acts, in the style of operas, to narrate his life, excesses and philanthropy.  It includes a surround sound that revives its legend and remembers its impressive musical legacy.

 This audiovisual work will be seen in the country thanks to Cine Colombia and Cineco Alternativo that will present it between September 16 and 22 in Bogotá, Medellín, Cali, Barranquilla, Bucaramanga, Cartagena, Villavicencio, Ibagué, Manizales, Popayán, Armenia and Pereira  .

 “One of Pavarotti's most ambitious goals was to expand the scope of his art so that more people fell in love with opera.  I hope that our documentary will help continue that work of bringing beauty to as many people as possible in the world, ”says Howard.

 The film unites Dolby Atmos multidimensional sound technology with tenor voice in the legendary Abbey Road studios (London) and moves from its beginnings as an artist, his family life, his concerts with stars of other genres, his philanthropy and even his legacy  .  It is a recount for the life of this world celebrity in a fun and anecdotal tone and in the voices of those closest to the musical genius
