This se the seven free concerts of Medejazz
The Medellín International Festival of Jazz and World Music, Medejazz, will have seven concerts with free admission in this 23 edition.
The event will take place between September 7 and 16, in which more than 140 artists from various countries will participate, including the Brazilian Caetano Veloso. There will also be free programming from 8 to 13 this month.
Among the bands invited to the concerts with free admission will be the Colombian Papabombass, Pachito Muñoz Cuarteto, Alcatras, Weimar Escobar and their Waes Express Band, which will interpret genres such as jazz, salsa, latin jazz, free jazz, Colombian jazz, cumbia, porro and bagpipes.
Among the internationals will be Yova Rodríguez and her Ensemble Sakao Aká, from the United States and Puerto Rico; Pietro Tonolo & Bebo Ferra Cuarteto, from Italy; and the López-Nussa family, from Cuba; Tom Diakité, from Mali; MaxMantis, from Switzerland, and Cubans Paquito D´Rivera Septeto.
The concerts will be held in three places: the San Ignacio Comfama Cloister, the Sura Botanical Garden and the Olaya Herrera Airport.
